Mehmet
Oguz - CEO and President
Mehmet Oguz, a native of Turkey, received a bachelor of
science degree from Bogazici University in Istanbul. He then
received a Master of Business Administration degree from
Georgia State University Robinson College of Business. He
served several Fortune 500 companies such as Coca Cola, GE,
and Citicorp as a business intelligence architect earlier in
his career. Mehmet founded Dealcup in 2006.
Mehmet's research interests include nonlinear algorithms,
pricing and revenue management systems, social algorithms
and bees. He is a fan of Sergey Brin's market basket papers
but he is more interested in basketball, shoots over 60%
from the three-point-line, and consistently wins free
lunches this way.

Ozalp Ozer -
Chief Science Advisor
Ozalp Ozer is a faculty member of
the Department of Management Science & Engineering at
Stanford University. His general research interests are
design and control of production and distribution systems,
management and coordination of global supply chains, pricing
and revenue management. He is currently researching and
developing contract and pricing mechanisms for sales channel
management systems. He is also developing efficient
algorithms that prescribe pricing and inventory allocation
policies.
Professor Ozer has
received the Wickham Skinner Early-Career Research
Accomplishment Award from the Production and Operations
Management Society in 2004, and the Eugene Grant Teaching
Award in Stanford's School of Engineering by vote of
students in 2003. He is an active consultant to industries
such as high technology, electronics, automotive and
financial. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from
Columbia University where he also taught prior to
joining Stanford University.
